ACCOUNTING mANAGER

Beth spent her career in accounting, with the last 15 years in the Fund Accounting Department at Franklin Templeton Investments, a global investment firm with offices worldwide. Beth’s last eleven years were focused in the private equity sector, specializing in real estate fund partnerships. She played an integral role in the launch of Franklin’s very first U.S. real estate fund in 2009, and remained responsible for the oversight of all of the US Real Estate Fund partnerships until her departure. As lead analyst, she was responsible for all aspects of fund accounting and oversight. Her extensive experience allowed her the opportunity to forge relationships with many different departments and clients, both internally and externally, domestically and abroad.

Beth exceeded job requirements with above average contributions. Her duties ranged from attending pre-launch meetings, reviewing fund and investor documentation, preparing capital calls and calculating distributions, credit facility and cash management, daily accounting oversight, fund and investor financial reporting, including yearly audits. Beth provided intensive cross-site training, produced a comprehensive set of standardized processes and procedures for US and European real estate funds, and created several spreadsheets to facilitate reviews and reporting.

Beth earned a Bachelors Degree in Finance for the University of Florida, and an Accounting Degree from FAU with a 4.0 GPA.
